Garlic flavored Stir Fried Vegetables



This is a mouth–watering and healthy Asian vegetable side dish that will be the perfect accompaniment to your main meal.

This is a super tempting and my favorite recipe when I really want to eat something healthy and not so fatty. Himanshu too loves to eat those stir fried veggies in garlic flavor. we use some Italian garlic flavored herbs which has dry garlic granules, black paper, oregano and some more herbs. The light dinner recipe to enjoy. Sending this recipe for our 166 #Foodiemonday #bloghop event and this time we are back with #Sirtfried theme. So I am back with very simple yet delicious stir fried vegetable recipe.



Ingredients

1½ teaspoons Oil or salted butter
2 cloves garlic, crushed
3 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
2 cups small broccoli florets
2 cups fresh french beans
2 cups Carrot
1/2 tsp Italian herbs
salt to taste

Method: 

1. Heat the oil or butter in a wok or in a large non–stick frying pan over high heat.

2. Add the ginger and garlic and stir–fry for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
Add the broccoli, carrots and fresh french beans stir–fry for 3 minutes, or until they begin to soften.

3. Sprinkle Italian herbs and salt to the stir fried vegetables. Serve them hot :)

Fresh beans Lentil soup




Fresh Beans lentil soup is one of the most delicious and healthy soup I tried for the bloghop and for me, My family is not so fond of beans recipes. So this was for me to try after my workout session. 

This Fresh beans lentil soup is made with mashed mixed lentils and fresh blanched french beans, garlic, onions and vegetable stoke. the recipe is simple and must try for some healthy twisted soup.

INGREDIENTS:

1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 sweet onion, diced
1 carrot, peeled and diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 sprigs fresh thyme
2 bay leaves
5 cups vegetables stoke
1/2 cup brown lentils,Boiled and mashed
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 Cup Fresh French beans, Chopped and blanched

METHOD:

1.Take a large deep pan and add all the vegetables at home by adding water make a vegetable stoke.

2. Take another pan, add little Olive Oil and onion and carrot, and cook, stirring occasionally, until onions are translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in garlic, until fragrant, about 1 minute.

3. Stir in vegetable stoke, mashed lentils, season with salt and pepper, to taste. Bring to a boil; Cover, reduce heat and simmer until lentils are almost tender, about 12-15 minutes.

4. Stir in fresh blanched beans, about 5 minutes more.

5. Serve immediately with some bruschetta chips or any toast, garnished with fresh beans or mint leaves, if desired.
