Dry Chhole chana





Chickpeas are a nutrient-dense food, providing rich content of protein, dietary fibre, folate, and certain dietary minerals.

This Dry chole chana is the simple recipe without onion and garlic. It has some taste of Ginger paste and some dry spices. You can enjoy this Dry chole with Puri or with Paratha. You can enjoy this chana during fast also, We do enjoy this chole chana during our Navratri fast, with some Rajgire ki puri or Paratha. Check out the recipe below and Enjoyy!!!



Ingredients: 

1 cup white chick peas, soaked overnight and Boiled
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp Ginger paste
2 tsp chole masala
2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp Cumin seed Powder
2 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tbsp coriander (dhania) powder
salt to taste

Method:
 1. Pressure cook the Chole Chana with Salt for 3 whistles until they are soft . Drain and keep aside.

  2. Heat the oil in a pan, add the cumin seeds. When the seeds crackle, add ginger paste and cook for seconds.

  3. Add the chole masala, chilli powder, amchur, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin seed powder and salt and saute for another seconds.
 
 4. Add the Chana and mix well. Cook for another minute. Switch off the gas and add chopped coriander leaves. Garnish with some ginger julienne.
